The dumbbell kickback is an isolation exercise that targets the triceps. It involves extending the arm behind the body while supporting oneself on a bench, promoting muscle definition and strength in the triceps.

How to do it

  1. Position one knee and hand on a bench for support, holding a dumbbell in the opposite hand.
  2. Keep your upper arm parallel to your body and hinge at the elbow to bring the weight back.
  3. Extend your arm fully to engage the triceps, then return to the starting position.
