The dip using a chair is an effective bodyweight exercise targeting the upper body, notably the triceps. It also engages the shoulders and chest. Suitable for home workouts, it enhances arm strength and endurance.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the edge of a chair and place your hands next to your hips.
  2. Move forward with your feet and lower your body until your elbows are bent at 90 degrees.
  3. Press through your palms to lift your body back to the starting position.
