The kneeling decline push-up is a variation of the push-up that emphasizes the upper chest and shoulders. By elevating the lower body on a bench, this exercise increases the difficulty and engages the chest from a different angle, providing a challenging workout for the upper body.

How to do it

  1. Place your knees on the ground and your feet on a bench behind you.
  2. Position your hands shoulder-width apart on the floor, arms extended.
  3. Lower your body by bending your elbows until your chest nearly touches the ground.
  4. Pause briefly, then push through your palms to return to the starting position.
  5. Maintain a straight line from head to knees throughout the movement.
