The decline kneeling push-up is a chest-focused variation of the standard push-up performed with the knees elevated on a bench. This modification intensifies the effort on the upper chest and shoulders due to the decline angle.

How to do it

  1. Begin by positioning yourself in a push-up stance with your knees on a bench.
  2. Place your hands on the floor, shoulder-width apart.
  3. Lower your body by bending your elbows until your chest is just above the ground.
  4. Push through your hands to return to the starting position, keeping your back straight.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
