Decline Crunch
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The decline crunch is an abdominal exercise performed on a decline bench to target the core muscles more intensely. By positioning the body on a decline, the exercise adds extra resistance, making the core work harder, particularly the rectus abdominis.
How to do it
- Lie on a decline bench with feet secured under the pads.
- Place hands behind the head, elbows wide.
- Engage the core and lift the upper torso towards the thighs.
- Pause briefly at the top, then return slowly to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps.
