A crunch with a medicine ball enhances core stability and strength by engaging the abdominal muscles. It increases resistance and adds intensity to the standard crunch, helping to build muscle endurance and improve torso strength.

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground.
  2. Hold the medicine ball above your chest with straight arms.
  3. Engage your core and lift your upper back off the ground, maintaining arm position.
  4. Pause at the top, then slowly lower back down.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
