The Cobra Push-Up combines a traditional push-up with an upward dog yoga pose, promoting strength and flexibility. It primarily strengthens the chest and triceps while enhancing core and back stability.
How to do it
- Start in a push-up position with hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
- Lower your body towards the ground by bending your elbows.
- Press up, extending your arms and arching your back, lifting your chest forward and upward.
- Hold the arch for a moment, feeling the stretch in the back.
- Return to the starting position and repeat.
