The bench dip is an effective exercise primarily targeting the triceps. It involves using a bench to support the body while performing a dip motion. This exercise improves upper body strength and enhances muscle definition in the arms and shoulders.

How to do it

  1. Sit on a bench with your hands next to your hips, fingers facing forward.
  2. Slide forward off the bench, supporting your weight with your hands.
  3. Lower your body by bending your elbows until your upper arms are parallel to the ground.
  4. Keep your back close to the bench throughout the movement.
  5. Push through your palms to return to the starting position.
