The Cable Twisting Overhead Press combines a rotational element with a vertical press to engage the core and shoulder muscles. This exercise enhances strength, stability, and coordination, targeting the deltoids and obliques.

How to do it

  1. Attach a single handle to the low pulley of a cable machine.
  2. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding the handle with one hand across your body.
  3. Rotate your torso and press the handle overhead, extending your arm fully.
  4. Control the descent, returning to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions and switch sides.
