The cable triceps pushdown with an SZ bar target the triceps brachii, aiding in increasing arm strength and muscle tone. This exercise is excellent for isolating the triceps while minimizing shoulder involvement.
How to do it
- Attach an SZ bar to a high pulley cable machine.
- Stand facing the machine, gripping the bar with an overhand grip.
- Keep your elbows close to your body and extend your arms, pushing the bar down.
- Pause briefly at full extension, then slowly allow the bar to return to the starting position.
- Maintain a controlled movement throughout.
