The cable squatting curl is a combination exercise that targets both the biceps and the legs. It involves performing a bicep curl while maintaining a squatting position. This movement helps enhance arm strength and endurance while also improving lower body stability and strength.
How to do it
- Set up a cable machine with a handle attachment at the lowest position.
- Stand in front of the cable machine and grip the handle with an underhand grip.
- Squat down, keeping your back straight and knees over your toes.
- Perform a bicep curl by bending your elbows and bringing the handle towards your shoulders.
- Slowly lower the handle back to the starting position while maintaining the squat position.
