The seated cable row targets the back muscles, focusing on building strength and stability. By using a cable machine, it ensures constant tension throughout the movement, enhancing muscular endurance and promoting balanced shoulder retraction.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the machine with feet firmly on the platform and grip the handles.
  2. Ensure your back is straight and chest is up throughout the movement.
  3. Pull the handles towards your torso, squeezing your shoulder blades together.
  4. Slowly return to the starting position with control.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
