How to do it

  1. Sit on the bench with feet flat, and grasp the cable with a reverse grip, palms facing up.
  2. Keep your back straight and shoulders back, engaging your core.
  3. Pull the cable towards your torso, squeezing the shoulder blades together.
  4. Pause briefly at the peak contraction.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position without slouching.
