How to do it

  1. Sit on a bench with a cable machine overhead, gripping the bar with a wide overhand grip.
  2. Pull the bar down towards the top of your chest, keeping elbows pointed down and back.
  3. Pause briefly and squeeze the shoulder blades together before slowly returning to the starting position.
