The Cable Overhead Tricep Extension with a straight bar targets the triceps by extending the arms overhead against resistance. This exercise is effective for isolating and strengthening the triceps, improving arm definition and upper body strength.

How to do it

  1. Stand facing away from the cable machine, feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Grip the straight bar with both hands, arms extended overhead.
  3. Keep elbows close to the head and slowly lower the bar by bending at the elbows.
  4. Extend the arms back to the starting position, squeezing the triceps.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps, maintaining controlled movement.
