Cable One-Arm Curl
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The cable one-arm curl targets the biceps, providing isolated muscle development and strength enhancement. By using a cable machine, the exercise maintains constant tension on the biceps throughout the movement, contributing to improved muscle endurance and hypertrophy.
How to do it
- Stand upright, facing the cable machine, with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Grip the handle with one hand, keeping the elbow close to your torso.
- Curl the handle upwards by flexing the elbow, keeping the upper arm stationary.
- Hold the contraction at the top briefly, then slowly lower the handle back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching arms.
