The cable one-arm curl targets the biceps, providing isolated muscle development and strength enhancement. By using a cable machine, the exercise maintains constant tension on the biceps throughout the movement, contributing to improved muscle endurance and hypertrophy.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright, facing the cable machine, with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Grip the handle with one hand, keeping the elbow close to your torso.
  3. Curl the handle upwards by flexing the elbow, keeping the upper arm stationary.
  4. Hold the contraction at the top briefly, then slowly lower the handle back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching arms.
