How to do it

  1. Sit on the machine bench with feet flat and knees secured under the pad.
  2. Grasp the wide bar with a neutral grip, palms facing inwards.
  3. Engage your core, lean slightly back, and pull the bar down to your upper chest.
  4. Squeeze the shoulder blades together at the bottom of the movement.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position with controlled motion.
