The cable lying bicep curl targets the biceps brachii by allowing a full range of motion while lying on a bench. This exercise isolates the biceps, minimizing the involvement of other muscles and providing a focused bicep workout.

How to do it

  1. Lie flat on a bench with your feet planted on the floor.
  2. Grip the cable handle with both hands, arms extended in front of you.
  3. Curl the handle towards your shoulders by bending your elbows.
  4. Squeeze the biceps at the top, then slowly lower back to start.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
