The cable lying bicep curl targets the biceps brachii by allowing a full range of motion while lying on a bench. This exercise isolates the biceps, minimizing the involvement of other muscles and providing a focused bicep workout.
How to do it
- Lie flat on a bench with your feet planted on the floor.
- Grip the cable handle with both hands, arms extended in front of you.
- Curl the handle towards your shoulders by bending your elbows.
- Squeeze the biceps at the top, then slowly lower back to start.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
