The Cable Leaning Lateral Raise targets the lateral deltoid, helping in shoulder width and definition. Leaning away allows for a greater range of motion and tension on the deltoids throughout the movement.
How to do it
- Attach a handle to the low pulley of a cable machine.
- Stand sideways with the working arm holding the handle.
- Lean away, holding onto the machine for support.
- Lift the handle by raising your arm to the side until parallel to the floor.
- Lower back slowly, maintaining tension.
