The Cable Leaning Lateral Raise targets the lateral deltoid, helping in shoulder width and definition. Leaning away allows for a greater range of motion and tension on the deltoids throughout the movement.

How to do it

  1. Attach a handle to the low pulley of a cable machine.
  2. Stand sideways with the working arm holding the handle.
  3. Lean away, holding onto the machine for support.
  4. Lift the handle by raising your arm to the side until parallel to the floor.
  5. Lower back slowly, maintaining tension.
