The cable assisted inverse leg curl is an exercise targeting the hamstrings, involving knee flexion while keeping the upper body supported. It helps in building strength and muscular endurance in the posterior chain.

How to do it

  1. Kneel on a bench with feet secured, facing away from the cable machine.
  2. Hold the cable handle behind the neck with elbows bent.
  3. Slowly lower your torso forward by bending at the knees.
  4. Use the cable to assist in returning to the starting position.
