The Bodyweight Side Squat Step is a lower body exercise that primarily targets the quadriceps and gluteus maximus. It involves stepping laterally from a standing position into a squat, enhancing balance, coordination, and muscular endurance.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet hip-width apart and hands in front of your chest.
  2. Step to the side with your right foot, bending both knees to lower into a squat.
  3. Push through the heels to return to standing, then repeat on the other side.
