The bear crawl is a full-body exercise that enhances strength and stability. It primarily challenges the core, shoulders, and legs, while also improving coordination. This movement mimics the natural gait of an animal, engaging multiple muscle groups and elevating the heart rate.
How to do it
- Start on all fours with hands and toes on the ground, knees slightly off the floor.
- Keep your back flat and core engaged throughout the movement.
- Move forward by simultaneously stepping your right hand and left foot, followed by left hand and right foot.
- Continue moving forward in a controlled manner, maintaining stability.
- Reverse the motion to return to the starting position, if needed.
