The barbell rollout is a core-strengthening exercise that primarily targets the abdominal muscles. It involves rolling a barbell forward while maintaining a stable core and then rolling it back to the starting position. This movement enhances core stability and strength.

How to do it

  1. Kneel on the floor with a barbell in front of you.
  2. Grip the barbell with both hands shoulder-width apart.
  3. Engage your core and slowly roll the barbell forward.
  4. Extend as far as comfortable while keeping your core tight.
  5. Roll back to the starting position, maintaining control.
