The Barbell Paused Bent-Over Row is a strength exercise targeting the back muscles. It involves bending over and rowing a barbell towards the torso with a pause at the top, enhancing strength and endurance in the back and arms while improving posture and stability.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an overhand grip.
  2. Bend at the hips, keeping the back straight and knees slightly bent.
  3. Pull the barbell towards your chest, squeezing the shoulder blades together.
  4. Pause at the top, then lower the barbell slowly to starting position.
  5. Repeat for desired repetitions, maintaining control throughout.
