The Barbell Low Split Squat is a compound exercise targeting the lower body, promoting strength and muscle growth in the legs while also improving balance and stability.

How to do it

  1. Start by positioning the barbell across your upper back, standing with one foot forward and one foot back.
  2. Descend into a lunge, keeping your front knee aligned with your toes and your back knee close to the ground.
  3. Push through the heel of your front foot to return to the starting position, maintaining a stable core throughout.
