This exercise combines a pressing movement with a leg twist, engaging multiple muscle groups. It primarily targets the chest while also activating the core, providing benefits in strength and stability.
How to do it
- Lie on your back holding a barbell with an overhand grip at shoulder width.
- Extend your legs up so they are perpendicular to the floor.
- Engage your core and twist your legs to one side, keeping your upper body stable.
- Press the barbell upwards while maintaining the leg twist.
- Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
