This exercise combines a pressing movement with a leg twist, engaging multiple muscle groups. It primarily targets the chest while also activating the core, providing benefits in strength and stability.

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back holding a barbell with an overhand grip at shoulder width.
  2. Extend your legs up so they are perpendicular to the floor.
  3. Engage your core and twist your legs to one side, keeping your upper body stable.
  4. Press the barbell upwards while maintaining the leg twist.
  5. Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
