The Barbell Front Squat is a compound lower-body exercise aimed at strengthening the quadriceps, glutes, and core. Holding the barbell on the front shoulders helps maintain an upright torso, improving core stability and posture. It enhances quad dominance and is beneficial for athletic performance and functional strength.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, toes slightly pointed out.
  2. Place the barbell across your shoulders with elbows forward and parallel.
  3. Keep your chest up and brace your core.
  4. Lower into a squat until thighs are parallel to the floor.
