The Barbell Front Rack Lunge is a strength exercise that targets the lower body by working on balance, coordination, and muscle strength. It primarily develops the quadriceps and glutes, while promoting core stability as the barbell rests in the front rack position.
How to do it
- Start with feet hip-width apart, holding a barbell in the front rack position with elbows up.
- Step forward with one leg, lowering your hips until both knees are bent at about 90 degrees.
- Push off the front foot to return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
