How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding the barbell in front of your shoulders.
- Keep your elbows up and chest lifted as you engage your core.
- Descend by bending your knees and hips as if sitting back in a chair.
- Lower until your thighs are parallel to the ground, keeping the chest upright.
- Press through your heels to return to the starting position.
