The Barbell Back Wide Shrug targets the upper trapezius muscles, helping to strengthen and build mass in the shoulder and neck area. It's a great exercise for improving posture and shoulder stability.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell in an overhand grip.
- Keep your arms extended and lift your shoulders as high as possible.
- Hold the top position briefly and then lower your shoulders back to the starting position.
