The Barbell Back Wide Shrug targets the upper trapezius muscles, helping to strengthen and build mass in the shoulder and neck area. It's a great exercise for improving posture and shoulder stability.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell in an overhand grip.
  2. Keep your arms extended and lift your shoulders as high as possible.
  3. Hold the top position briefly and then lower your shoulders back to the starting position.
