This shoulder stretch exercise using a resistance band is designed to improve flexibility and mobility in the shoulders. It aids in warming up the muscles and joints, promoting better range of motion and decreasing the risk of injury during workouts.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and hold the resistance band with both hands.
  2. Extend your arms straight in front of you, keeping tension on the band.
  3. Slowly raise your arms overhead, maintaining tension, and feel the stretch in your shoulders.
  4. Hold for a few seconds at the top, then return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.
