The Band Step-Up is a lower-body exercise that primarily targets the legs and glutes, enhancing strength and balance. It involves stepping onto an elevated surface using a resistance band to add intensity and improve muscle activation.

How to do it

  1. Secure the resistance band under one foot and hold the handles at chest height.
  2. Stand facing a bench or step with feet hip-width apart.
  3. Step onto the bench with your banded foot, driving through the heel.
  4. Bring the opposite knee up for balance, then slowly lower back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps, then switch legs.
