The semi squat jump is a plyometric exercise that focuses on explosive leg power and endurance. It helps improve lower body strength, particularly enhancing the power and agility of the legs, and can be beneficial for athletic performance.

How to do it

  1. Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Lower your body into a semi squat position, keeping your back straight and chest up.
  3. Engage your core and quickly jump upwards explosively, extending your legs fully.
  4. Land softly back into the semi squat position and immediately prepare for the next jump.
