The Band Standing Leg Curl is an isolation exercise targeting the hamstrings, focusing on strengthening the back of the thighs. It involves bending the knee against resistance while maintaining balance, which helps improve muscle endurance and stability.

How to do it

  1. Anchor the resistance band at ankle level on a sturdy structure.
  2. Stand facing the anchor point, with the band looped around your ankle.
  3. Hold onto the structure for support and balance.
  4. Keep your standing leg slightly bent and engage your core.
  5. Curl the working leg by bringing your heel towards your glutes and then slowly return.
