Band Standard Biceps Curl
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The Band Standard Biceps Curl is an effective exercise for isolating and strengthening the biceps muscles using a resistance band. It mimics the traditional dumbbell bicep curl but uses band tension to create resistance, which can be adjusted by altering the band's length or thickness.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, stepping on a resistance band with both feet.
- Grasp the band handles with palms facing forward, keeping elbows close to the torso.
- Curl your hands towards your shoulders by bending the elbows while keeping the upper arms stationary.
- Pause at the top of the movement and squeeze the biceps.
- Slowly lower the hands back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
