This exercise involves performing sit-ups on a decline bench while holding onto a resistance band. It primarily targets the core muscles, enhancing their strength and stability.

How to do it

  1. Secure the resistance band to a sturdy anchor point at the top of the bench.
  2. Lie back on the decline bench, hooking your feet under the pads for support.
  3. Hold the resistance band handles near your shoulders.
  4. Engage your core and sit up, drawing your chest towards your knees.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position, maintaining tension in the band.
