Ball Sit-Up (on Stability Ball)
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The ball sit-up is a core-strengthening exercise performed on a stability ball. It challenges the abdominals while improving balance and coordination. By using the stability ball, the exercise engages the core muscles more effectively than traditional sit-ups.
How to do it
- Sit on a stability ball with feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart.
- Walk your feet forward, lying back until the lower back is supported by the ball.
- Place hands behind your head, elbows wide.
- Engage the core and lift the upper body toward the thighs.
- Slowly lower back, maintaining control, and repeat.
