Astride jumps are a dynamic exercise that targets muscle groups throughout the body and boosts cardiovascular fitness. This exercise improves explosive power and endurance while engaging the core for stability.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet together and arms at sides.
  2. Jump explosively, spreading legs wide apart and lifting arms above head simultaneously.
  3. Land softly on the balls of your feet in the wide position.
  4. Immediately jump again, bringing feet together and arms down to sides.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
