Astride jumps are a dynamic exercise that targets muscle groups throughout the body and boosts cardiovascular fitness. This exercise improves explosive power and endurance while engaging the core for stability.
How to do it
- Stand with feet together and arms at sides.
- Jump explosively, spreading legs wide apart and lifting arms above head simultaneously.
- Land softly on the balls of your feet in the wide position.
- Immediately jump again, bringing feet together and arms down to sides.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
