The assisted single leg press is a machine exercise targeting the quadriceps, using a counterbalance to help with the lifting motion. It enhances leg strength, focusing on one leg at a time.
How to do it
- Position yourself on the assisted chin up machine, facing away.
- Place one foot on the platform and the other on the counterbalance for support.
- Press down with the working leg, engaging the quadriceps.
- Return to the starting position under control.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
