The assisted single leg press is a machine exercise targeting the quadriceps, using a counterbalance to help with the lifting motion. It enhances leg strength, focusing on one leg at a time.

How to do it

  1. Position yourself on the assisted chin up machine, facing away.
  2. Place one foot on the platform and the other on the counterbalance for support.
  3. Press down with the working leg, engaging the quadriceps.
  4. Return to the starting position under control.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
