Walking is a fundamental, low-impact exercise that promotes cardiovascular health and leg strength. It involves lifting one foot off the ground, moving it forward, and placing it down, then repeating with the other foot. It is an excellent way to improve fitness levels and maintain overall health.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright with feet together and arms relaxed by your sides.
  2. Step forward with one foot, landing gently on the heel.
  3. Roll through the foot to press off the toes, bringing the other foot forward.
  4. Continue alternating steps in a smooth, controlled manner.
  5. Maintain an even pace and keep shoulders relaxed.
