The exercise involves stepping in place, mimicking the motion of walking or running while remaining stationary. It serves as an excellent way to boost cardiovascular endurance and engage the legs and glutes.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart and arms by your sides.
  2. Lift your right knee toward your chest while swinging your left arm forward.
  3. Quickly switch legs, lifting your left knee and swinging your right arm forward.
  4. Continue alternating steps quickly, like marching in place.
  5. Maintain an upright posture throughout the exercise.
