The Standing Side Bend with a bent arm is an effective stretching exercise that primarily targets the obliques. It enhances flexibility and mobility in the torso, providing a good stretch for the side body while also engaging core muscles.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Raise your right arm above your head, bending the elbow slightly.
  3. Lean to the left, engaging obliques and keeping the hips stable.
  4. Hold for a few seconds, then return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat on the other side.
