The Standing Side Bend with a bent arm is an effective stretching exercise that primarily targets the obliques. It enhances flexibility and mobility in the torso, providing a good stretch for the side body while also engaging core muscles.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Raise your right arm above your head, bending the elbow slightly.
- Lean to the left, engaging obliques and keeping the hips stable.
- Hold for a few seconds, then return to the starting position.
- Repeat on the other side.
