The Stability Ball Single Leg Squat is an exercise that enhances balance, stability, and strength in the lower body. It primarily targets the quadriceps and gluteus maximus, offering a challenging unilateral movement. Supporting muscles work to maintain balance throughout the exercise.

How to do it

  1. Place a stability ball against a wall at your lower back.
  2. Stand with one leg while the other leg is extended forward.
  3. Slowly lower your body into a squat on the standing leg, maintaining balance.
  4. Return to standing position by pushing through your heel.
  5. Repeat for desired repetitions before switching legs.
