The single leg deadlift with knee lift is a dynamic exercise that targets balance and strength by engaging the core and lower body. It improves stability, coordination, and increases strength in the legs and glutes.

How to do it

  1. Stand on one leg with a slight bend in the knee, keeping the other leg slightly off the floor.
  2. Hinge at the hips, extending your free leg backwards and lowering your torso until parallel with the floor.
  3. Return to the upright position while bringing your free knee forwards and upwards toward your chest.
  4. Maintain a straight back and engage your core throughout the movement.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.
