The single leg deadlift with knee lift is a dynamic exercise that targets balance and strength by engaging the core and lower body. It improves stability, coordination, and increases strength in the legs and glutes.
How to do it
- Stand on one leg with a slight bend in the knee, keeping the other leg slightly off the floor.
- Hinge at the hips, extending your free leg backwards and lowering your torso until parallel with the floor.
- Return to the upright position while bringing your free knee forwards and upwards toward your chest.
- Maintain a straight back and engage your core throughout the movement.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.
