The Roll Ball Upper Trapezius Release is a self-myofascial release technique focusing on relieving tension in the upper trapezius. It involves using a massage ball to apply pressure to the muscle, helping alleviate tightness and improve mobility in the shoulder and neck area.
How to do it
- Place a massage ball between your upper trapezius and a wall.
- Lean into the wall to apply pressure to the muscle.
- Slowly move your body back and forth, rolling the ball over tight areas.
- Focus on any tender spots, holding pressure for 20-30 seconds.
- Continue until you feel a release of tension.
