The PVC Overhead Squat is a full-body exercise primarily used to improve flexibility, stability, and coordination. It targets major muscle groups while enhancing overall mobility. Often used as a warm-up or technique drill, this exercise helps refine overhead weightlifting movements.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, gripping the PVC pipe overhead with a wide grip.
  2. Engage the core and retract the shoulder blades to maintain an upright torso.
  3. Lower into a squat by bending the knees and pushing the hips back.
  4. Keep the PVC pipe stable overhead, aligned with the midline of the body.
  5. Push through the heels to return to the starting position.
