The overhead slam is an explosive full-body exercise that primarily targets the core, while also engaging the upper and lower body. It improves power, strength, and endurance by combining a lifting and slamming motion.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a medicine ball with both hands.
- Lift the ball overhead, extending your arms fully while engaging your core.
- Slam the ball down onto the ground with force, using your entire body.
- Catch the ball as it rebounds and return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
