The Lying Side Quadriceps Stretch focuses on lengthening the quadriceps muscles. It is performed while lying on the side, providing a gentle stretch to relieve tension in the front thigh. This stretch improves flexibility, particularly in the hip flexors and quadriceps, and can aid in muscle recovery.

How to do it

  1. Lie on your side with legs straight and head resting on lower arm.
  2. Bend the top knee and reach back with the top arm to grasp the ankle.
  3. Gently pull the ankle towards your glutes until you feel a stretch.
  4. Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds, maintaining a straight lower leg.
  5. Repeat on the other side to ensure balance.
