The Lying Abductor Stretch primarily focuses on enhancing flexibility of the hip abductor muscles. It helps in relieving tension and improving range of motion in the hip area, which is beneficial for daily activities and sports performance.
How to do it
- Sit on the floor with one leg extended and the other bent, placing the foot outside the opposite knee.
- Twist your torso towards the bent knee, placing the opposite elbow on the outside of that knee for support.
- Hold the stretch and breathe deeply, keeping your back straight and shoulders relaxed.
