The Lever Lateral Pulldown is a strength exercise targeting the latissimus dorsi using a plate-loaded machine. It enhances upper body strength, focusing on the back and aiding in improving posture and upper body muscular endurance.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the leverage machine seat, ensuring feet are flat on the floor.
  2. Grip the handles above your head with a wide grip, palms facing forward.
  3. Engage your core and pull the handles down towards your shoulders, keeping elbows close to your body.
  4. Pause briefly at the bottom of the movement, feeling the contraction in your back.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position with controlled movement.
