The Lever Lateral Pulldown is a strength exercise targeting the latissimus dorsi using a plate-loaded machine. It enhances upper body strength, focusing on the back and aiding in improving posture and upper body muscular endurance.
How to do it
- Sit on the leverage machine seat, ensuring feet are flat on the floor.
- Grip the handles above your head with a wide grip, palms facing forward.
- Engage your core and pull the handles down towards your shoulders, keeping elbows close to your body.
- Pause briefly at the bottom of the movement, feeling the contraction in your back.
- Slowly return to the starting position with controlled movement.
